Lady Kunst’s work is a mixture of apathy, courage and desperation. For Lady Kunst, life is a theater in which we are all protagonists. Lady Kunst’s work focuses on political and commercial aspects, making a severe criticism of the current values of society.
Lady Kunst works with a timer on her photos. This gives her the freedom to bring ideas into the visual world faster. Since for Lady Kunst the world is a stage where everyone is the protagonist of his own story, who better than oneself to tell the story in different ways. For Lady Kunst, the world is created in the mind, then in reality. The play of juxtapositions of elements is reminiscent of the ethereal world of poetry. This is why painting with images has become for Lady Kunst a style of visual poetry.
Jacqueline Delaye has a multidisciplinary background based in social studies and arts. She studied Social Anthropology in Mexico city. Cinema and Tv in Barcelona and Art and Culture Management Having worked as a video artist and documentary filmmaker around Europe.
She lived and worked in Berlin, Germany during 11 years, after living in different countries like USA, England, France, Spain, Italy and of course Mexico the place where she was born.
Now she lives in Portugal in the island of Sao Miguel, where she takes the inspiration of nature, meditates on creativity and uses her time for the sake of art creations. She focuses on the social anthropological aspects of the human being reflecting the adaptation of culture through arts.
